I really enjoyed this. Is even argue that the script has been flipped entirely, where in the movies we were shown happy endings and sweet love stories but social media trends and tests and expectations have poisoned the day we view relationships, on top of providing us only picture perfect examples. I know people who have sworn of dating entirely because they think it's just futile or not worth it at all.
idk why but this essay reminded me of the time i was watching this movie "love, rosie" and ngl it was a fun watch but I WAS NOT EXPECTING THE HAPPY ENDING i mean it was so messy and i would've liked it more if it ended with a reality based ending rather than that just my opinion btw
