Grappling with my own immortality,
Free-falling from the comfort of my bed,
The blankets can no longer protect me
Buried underneath them,
They are my shelter,
Grappling with my own immortality,
I tumbled off of my own bed,
To meet the cans that litter the floor,
I am falling for something,
Something that is unbeknownst to me,
Grappling with my own immortality,
I am one with the cans that litter the floor,
I am one with the floor,
As I go sinking in,
My skin has stuck to it,
Grappling with my own immortality,
My flesh has merged with it,
Denying myself the comfort my bed once gave me,
The security of a warm blanket protecting me,
Sticky with the residue of the liquid in the cans,
Grappling with my own immortality,
The floor has become my new comfort,
The cans are sharp but they understand me,
The clothes on the floor are my new blanket,
Buried underneath them,
They are my new shelter,
A/N: This one is named after a song Videoclub made. I am extremely worried that it is bad, but fuck it, I have free will.
